As far back as I can remember, I've been the "art kid" in my family. Growing up in the Midwest, I thought I'd end up in a big city on a coast if I wanted to be successful. As it would turn out, I'm surrounded by a successful design community in so many of the places I've always called home.
Born and raised across Michigan, I came to Fort Wayne to pursue the animation career I'd always dreamed about. Over the course of my education at the University of Saint Francis, I realized that my skills are best fit to the marriage of animation and design: Motion Graphics. This discipline allows me to pull from every part of my favorite creative skills—animation, design, layout, photography, video and audio editing—and combine them to make something entirely new.
Professionally and personally, I'll always be that "art kid." I'm so grateful that it has led me along this path of exploring the depths of design and intention behind everything we come into contact with—books, movies, podcasts, even how flags are designed. I use my skills to bring clarity to confusing concepts, organize chaotic ideas, and beautify knowledge so it's accessible and engaging.
My hobbies include traveling to eat the best food I can find, any DIY project that can double as a Halloween costume, and off roading. That first photo is from Greece in 2023 where I got to experience the setting of some of my favorite mythology and ate some of the best meals of my life. The second is Halloween 2024 with my interpretation of the beloved cryptid, the Mothman. Last is the 2025 farewell tour of my '07 Jeep Wrangler—I took the best care of it that I could, but an upgrade to a Subaru Forester lets me go farther on a tank of gas!

My first standout motion graphics project was Cool Science with Dustee and Darlene. These two shorts were made for PBS back in 2014 as my internship experience at the end of college.
Between another student and myself, we animated these shorts that aired on all Midwest PBS programming and won Best Educational Short at the San Diego International Kids Film Festival and a Bronze Telly Award.
